4. Detailed Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced AWS Network Architect to design, govern and implement secure, scalable AWS network and platform architectures. The role involves defining architecture standards, leading design reviews and collaborating with infrastructure, security and application teams to deliver Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions at scale.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design AWS network architectures, including multi-account landing zones, VPCs, Transit Gateway and hybrid connectivity.
  • Manage Site-to-Site VPN, Direct Connect, DNS and traffic routing.
  • Define network security patterns, including network segmentation, Security Groups, NACLs, Network Firewalls and private connectivity.
  • Build, develop and review Terraform modules and standards for repeatable infrastructure provisioning.
  • Develop Python automation and tooling using Boto3 for provisioning, validation and operational tasks.
  • Prepare High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), Architecture Decision Records (ADR) and runbooks.
  • Lead architecture reviews and present solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Assess existing environments and recommend improvements in resilience, cost, performance and disaster recovery.
  • Guide engineering teams during implementation and troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues.
