Summary:
We
are seeking a skilled C++ developer with hands-on experience in OPC UA server
development to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will work on
building and maintaining a high-availability, redundant OPC UA server
infrastructure, including health monitoring, failover mechanisms, and
inter-service communication over mesh and Ethernet networks.
Key
Responsibilities:
Design,
develop, and maintain OPC UA server components using C++.
Integrate
and customize third-party OPC UA stacks (e.g., Unified Automation).
Implement
health monitoring and failover logic between Primary and Secondary
servers.
Develop
inter-process and inter-machine communication modules for exchanging
system metrics (CPU, memory, network status).
Ensure
high performance and reliability of the server under various load
conditions.
Conduct
static code analysis using tools like Coverity and Squore.
Collaborate
with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and integration
strategies.
Write
clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Participate
in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
Required Skills:
Strong
proficiency in C++ (11/14/17) and multithreaded programming.
Experience
with OPC UA protocols and server/client architecture.
Familiarity
with Unified Automation UA SDK or similar OPC UA stacks.
Knowledge
of Windows Services development.
Experience
with network programming (TCP/IP, Ethernet, mesh networks).
Understanding
of system-level programming and performance optimization.
Experience
with JSON/XML data formats and parsing.
Proficiency
in using static analysis tools like Coverity and Squore.
Strong
problem-solving and debugging skills.
