Assistant Manager - Industrial Relations

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Industrial Relations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial relations, statutory compliance, employee engagement, employee benefits, training & development, and HR generalist functions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective industrial relations strategies to maintain positive employee relations and minimize labor disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, including statutory compliance and adherence to industry standards.
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale, productivity, and employee retention.
  • Develop and manage employee benefits programs, including salary, allowances, and other perks.
  • Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Provide HR generalist support to the team, including recruitment, employee onboarding, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and report on labor market trends, employee satisfaction, and other relevant metrics to inform business decisions.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in industrial relations, HR generalist, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop insights to inform business decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
