Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality audits and
reviews for surgical cases, ensuring adherence to documentation and coding
standards.
Identify gaps, provide
actionable feedback, and recommend process improvements.
Ensure compliance with
AAPC/AHIMA coding guidelines and internal quality standards.
Collaborate with clinical
teams, coders, and management to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of
QA findings and generate reports for management.
Stay updated on regulatory
and industry best practices related to surgery specialty coding and
documentation.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience
in quality assurance, preferably in healthcare or surgery specialty.
AAPC or AHIMA certification –
mandatory.
Strong knowledge of surgical
coding standards and clinical documentation requirements.
Excellent analytical,
organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently
and mentor junior team members.
