Job description
As a Principal Consultant in
Cognizant’s Life Sciences Consulting practice, you will lead strategic
engagements and capability development in the Medical Affairs domain. You will
serve as the SME for Medical Affairs, driving transformation initiatives across
medical strategy, scientific engagement, evidence generation, and digital
enablement. This role requires deep domain expertise, strong consulting acumen,
and a proven ability to deliver high-impact solutions for global Pharmaceutical
and Biotech clients.

Qualifications
·
15+
years of experience in life sciences consulting or Medical Affairs roles, with
at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
·
Proven
experience in leading Medical Affairs transformation programs across global Pharma
or Biotech clients.
·
Deep
understanding of Medical Affairs functions, including scientific engagement,
evidence generation, and medical communications.
·
Familiarity
with digital health technologies, real-world evidence (RWE), and AI/ML
applications in Medical Affairs.
·
Advanced
degree in life sciences, medicine, or pharmacy (MD, PharmD, PhD preferred); MBA
is a plus.
