Consultant
Job Overview
·
We are seeking a PeopleSoft HCM Techno-Functional
Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience in PeopleSoft HCM applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience in development, configuration,
integration, and support of Core HR, Payroll, and Absence Management modules.
This is an independent contributor role requiring strong analytical,
problem-solving, and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
·
Work as a Techno-Functional Consultant in PeopleSoft
HCM projects.
·
Perform hands-on
development using PeopleCode, PeopleTools,
Application Designer, Application Engine, AWE, Component Interface, Integration
Broker, and SQR.
·
Support Core HR,
Payroll, and Absence Management modules.
·
Gather and
document business requirements for system enhancements.
·
Conduct fit/gap analysis and prepare functional
or technical specifications.
·
Create, execute,
and manage test scripts to
ensure high-quality deliverables.
·
Diagnose and
resolve PeopleSoft related issues to ensure system accuracy.
·
Interact with
business users to understand requirements and provide optimal solutions.
·
Participate in Managed Service projects, supporting
enhancements and maintenance activities.
·
Apply knowledge
of SQL and PS Queries for reporting, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
·
Follow SDLC best practices for both
implementation and maintenance projects.
Skills & Attributes
·
5+ years of PeopleSoft HCM
Techno-Functional experience.
·
Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM 8.x
/ 9.x.
·
Hands-on experience in PeopleCode,
Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, AWE, SQR, and
Application Designer.
·
Strong understanding of HCM functional
processes (Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management).
·
Analytical thinking with strong
problem-solving capabilities.
·
Ability to work independently as an IC
(Individual Contributor).
·
Knowledge of SQL queries and PS Queries.
·
Experience in requirement gathering,
documentation, and testing.
