Senior Software Engineer

Location

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient software systems using Java and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate testing, building, and deployment of software applications.
• Work closely with SRE engineers to design and implement reliable and scalable systems, and ensure high uptime and performance.
• Develop and maintain real-time data processing systems using Kafka and Python, and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new tools, and apply this knowledge to improve our software systems and processes.

Requirements

• 6-9 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in Java, SRE, and CI/CD tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Java, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with SRE principles, practices, and tools, including monitoring, logging, and incident management.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, and experience with automating testing, building, and deployment of software applications.
• Familiarity with Kafka and Python, including real-time data processing, streaming, and integration with other systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, SRE engineers, and product managers.
